“ In Statu Naturali ” is a fashion collection based on "Land Art" which represents the link between the purity and beauty of nature with the human body.
Learning from the paths of some artists who have worked with these key concepts such as Andy Goldsworthy, Richart Long, Robert Smithson and Fina Miralles, I worked on my fabrics by replicating the interaction between the human body and nature.
The selected fabrics are completely natural compositions such as silk, linen and cotton. The colours are inspired by natural elements (onion skin, bamboo, leaves, stones and water) that blend with the colour of human skin, becoming shades of green, orange, pink, blue and white.
The experimentation of the fabric assumes great importance as the starting point of the whole design process. The most outstanding fabric is made from a mix of silk and tea leaves, the material is worked like a sandwich made of silk faces and tea powder.
The final fabric is designed with the idea of transparency that reveals the colour and silhouette of the human body.
The garments are very comfortable, always made with organic shapes and leaving the body visible by working with cut out motifs.
